Conor McGregor will return to the octagon on June 29 against Michael Chandler. McGregor has not fought since he broke his foot at UFC 264 in the fight against Dustin Poirier. The Irishman has recovered from the injury and recently revealed a new health routine.

Conor McGregor is one of the most agile and flexible fighters in UFC. Arman Tsarukyan recently showcased his flexibility, but McGregor’s poised striking and agility made his performances amazing. Recently, he walked to the gym barefoot through a park.

I’ve been hugging these trees lately. It’s kind of a nice little feeling. Yeah, grounding, tree hugging, and all this nature stuff feels very good.

McGregor had a devastating leg injury not too long ago. Per health experts, walking barefoot has several health benefits. It could strengthen the body by improving the hip, core, and knee mechanics. Moreover, it would also strengthen the ligaments and create stronger leg muscles. It can prove beneficial for McGregor as his style has several kicking techniques.

McGregor also hugged a tree and gave a shout-out to Elite OrthoSport Physical Therapy & Performance, who might have played a part in his recovery after the leg break. Everything is now looking good for the Irishman. In 2024, he became a part owner of BKFC and even made his Hollywood debut with Road House opposite Jake Gyllenhaal.

McGregor revealed that his primary objective is UFC 303. Weeks before UFC 303, Dustin Poirier will fight Islam Makhachev for the undisputed lightweight title. Poirier is a big underdog in the fight, but if he wins, it could make it easier for the UFC to set up a fourth fight between Poirier and McGregor if he wins against Chandler.
