To set the record straight, former contemporaries-turned-business partners Vince McMahon and Dana White didnāt see eye to eye for a long time. In fact, the UFC President has accused McMahon of incessantly troubling him for no reason in the past. They seemed to have buried the hatchet when Endeavor merged both WWE and the UFC under its umbrella last year. However, now Vince is not around anymore.
Which is why Dana White didnāt crumble while claiming that he doesnāt have a problem sending some of his UFC fighters over to WWE for cameo appearances down the road. White affirmed that there are a handful of people over there at the UFC whoāve dreamed of competing in WWE. Further, the 54-year-old executive went on to say that he didnāt have a problem with such aspirations even when McMahon was in-charge of operations at WWE.
The Power Slap owner asserted that Vince McMahon was āconsistently f***ing me for no reasonā back then. However, now that the 78-year-old ill-famed tycoon doesnāt hold the keys to the kingdom anymore, heād absolutely entertain the crossovers between WWE and UFC. A few months ago, on Monday Night Raw, the fans caught their first glimpses of what the forbidden door left wide open could do.
I didnāt have a problem with that when Vince was consistently f*cking me for no reason and now thatās not the case anymore, obviously Iād absolutely do it.
Dana White on Vince McMahon during UFC: Fight Night post-show presser
Michael Chandler ended up calling out Conor McGregor. Recently, Derrick Lewis revealed that heās been in talks with WWE for months now. He alluded to leverage WWE HOFāer Rikishiās maneuver, the Stinkface, as The Black Beast is someone who loves taking down his shorts. Last night in St. Louis, Lewis knocked out Rodrigo Nascimento in the third round to claim a thumping victory over the Brazilian fighter.
Dana White has spilled the beans on WWE PLEs moving back to Sundays
Coming out of UFC Fight Night: St. Louis, one of the biggest developments saw Dana White basically confirm that WWE PLEs are close to reverting back to their original slots on Sunday. The Ultimate Fighting Championship CEO said that fans will get to see Power Slap on Fridays, UFC events on Saturdays, and WWE on Sundays.
Whiteās promulgation at the post-show media scrum didnāt come off well. Most of the fans believe that theyād still prefer Saturday over Sunday for a WWE PLE. Even if the premium live events do move back to what they were about a year or two ago, it could be on certain weekends.
It would make a whole lot of sense for WWE and the UFC to stage back-to-back programming in the same venue. Speaking of last nightās UFC event, St. Louis native and 14-time World Champion Randy Orton also markedĀ hisĀ presence.
