Strickland is known for his unfiltered views. The MMA fighter’s bold declaration came in response to a fan’s tweet. When someone suggested that Sean Strickland wouldn’t fare any better than Parsons against a sumo wrestler, the brash fighter didn’t hold back.

Parsons recently indulged in a bit of cultural immersion during a trip to Japan. The All-Pro linebacker stepped into the dohyo (sumo ring) and went head-to-head with a professional sumo wrestler. This interaction resulted in this hilarious viral clip.
In the video, Parsons is quickly overpowered and tossed out of the ring in his first attempt. Undeterred, he returned for a second bout, where he managed to move the massive sumo wrestler out of the ring amidst roars of cheers.

The 185lbs Sean Strickland squaring off against a towering, immensely powerful sumo wrestler is equal parts hilarious and intriguing. But knowing Strickland, he would be up for this challenge as well. Fight fans would be intrigued to see him go up against a Sumo or maybe even a Ninja!
