The rivalry between boxing star Ryan Garcia and MMA star Sean O’Malley is not slowing down.
In a recent poker livestream, Garcia scoffed at O’Malley. He expressed his lack of impression of O’Malley’s skillset. Moreover, ‘KingRy’ asserted his belief that he could beat O’Malley at his own game.

Ryan Garcia was asked by someone at the table about his opinion on the Sean O’Malley fight. In the past, both O’Malley and Garcia have remained open to a crossover boxing bout. Nevertheless, Garcia remains unimpressed by ‘Suga’ for some reason. He didn’t mince words about his opinions on the prospective fight.

He cannot beat me in Boxing. He cannot even beat me in MMA. I have been doing MMA for the past 5 years but nobody knows that.

Garcia, at 25, is known for his exceptional hand speed and knockout power in the ring. However, his cavalier dismissal of O’Malley’s MMA skills came as a shocker. The two have beefed various times over the past months. Garcia had even asked Dana White to let him fight against O’Malley in an MMA-style match.

However, the chances of Garcia actually stepping into the Octagon seem remote. MMA fighters usually cross over to boxing, but it’s extremely rare for the vice versa to happen. MMA encompasses boxing and other martial arts, while boxing is just one aspect of combat sports. Garcia’s confidence in his MMA skills may never see the UFC Octagon.

Boxer Ryan Garcia’s failed drug tests recently rocked the combat sports world. Garcia tested positive for the banned substance Ostarine before and after the fight against Devin Haney. Sean O’Malley had some words about this situation.

O’Malley weighed in with a strong warning for Garcia. O’Malley was recently on the “Raw Talk” podcast. The UFC bantamweight didn’t mince words about the potential consequences if Garcia can’t clear his name.

I’m sure they’re probably trying to investigate it and trying to figure out it. That would s**k for that idiot because then he would lose all that money. He’s got to if he tested positive for straight-up steroids I’m sure they’re gonna you know take away the money.

Athletic commissions notoriously come down hard on doping violations like Ostarine use. His massive Haney payday and signature win could be wiped away. While Garcia professed innocence, history showed that fighters rarely unscathed these doping clouds. Whether Garcia can clear the air or face career-altering sanctions remains to be seen.
