Drake and Kendrick Lamar are not on good terms. Everybody around the world is invested in the beef right now, and so is Derrick Lewis. The UFC heavyweight knockout artist will headline the upcoming St. Louis card. As such, he spoke of the Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar beef during the media scrum.

Derrick Lewis picked the choice between the two rappers during the media scrum. He revealed that he had no personal animosity for Drake. However, he revealed Lamar as his pick and detailed a rather patriotic answer for his pick in the rap beef.

I’m going with Kendrick. Why? Kendrick from the US? That’s why, yeah yeah yeah, that’s right.

Kendrick Lamar and Drake had issues for a while, and it finally exploded recently. Lamar attacked Drake’s alcoholism in his verses and alleged pedophilia within his camp. He also touched on Drake’s relationship and accused him of abusing and cheating on his fiancée.

Drake shot back, accusing Lamar of domestic violence, and questioned the paternity of his child. The feud heightened to a point where police were involved after a security guard was shot outside Drake’s event. Even artists like J Cole and Ye became involved in this feud. Many are calling it the return of the age of hip-hop.
