Alex Pereira might be the biggest troll with the hardest punching power in the UFC. The fighter’s recent target was none other than UFC veteran Anthony Smith. Smith recently fought in the main card of UFC 301 and might not have expected to be trolled by the light heavyweight champion.
Alex Pereira and his coach attended UFC 301 cage side. The fighter then posted a hilarious video on his Instagram where he pretended to sleep while Bruce Buffer introduced Smith. In the video, as Bruce Buffer announced Smith’s name, the camera panned to an asleep Alex Pereira.
Smith fought Vitor Petrino in a light heavyweight clash and won the fight via submission in the very first round. With the win, Smith can hope to regain momentum and fight other top light heavyweights to build himself up to a title shot. Â
During the post-fight interview, the fighter was overwhelmed. He talked about his journey and thanked his consistent training. Anthony Smith has now rebounded from his brutal loss to Khalil Rountree Jr. Smith even revealed he had bad thoughts after losing to Rountree. As such, the win remains essential for Smith to gain momentum to one day challenge Alex Pereira for the title.

Alex Pereira told Connect Cast he would entertain a grappling challenge against Smith. In the challenge, ‘Lionheart‘ must finish ‘’Poatan’ in under five minutes from a dominating position.
I make a bet with Anthony Smith. I let him take my back with hooks in and give him five minutes to finish me. We can bet. He said I’d win a $50k bonus, he said it was a sure thing. So, if he sees me saying this here, I want him to accept.
