The UFC is the premier MMA promotion in the world. Through the promotion, several fighters have made a fortuned. However, there has been frequent criticism regarding how Dana White and the UFC did their business. One such critique is ex-UFC heavyweight Mark Hunt, known famous for his walk-off knockouts.
As such, he has remained in high-profile fights in MMA, against Brock Lesnar, Fedor Emelianenko, Stipe Miocic, and other elite heavyweights. Nonetheless, he is an ardent critic of the UFC against whom he has filed lawsuits and lost. However, his recent social media tweet has become a source of enigma, particularly as it looked like a countdown with a picture of the number ‘6.’

Hunt had lost his recent RICO [The Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act] lawsuit against Dana White and the UFC. Afterward, White even called Hunt delusional. The Super Samoan had blamed his lawyers who he alleged received bribes from the UFC. However, he recently filed to make court documents public about the case, potentially on May 8th. That certainly is the reason behind his recent tweet.

Hunt’s problem with the UFC arose after he fought Brock Lesnar at UFC 200. Even though he lost the fight, the NSAC changed the result to No Contest due to Lesnar’s positive drug test. Hunt firmly believed the UFC allowed Lesnar to fight him with prior knowledge of his doping violation.

When Mark Hunt lost his lawsuit against the UFC, to the delight of Dana White, he stated his fight was not over. As such, he had appealed the case at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. The UFC recently settled the class action lawsuit and the new development is certainly a worry for the promotion.

According to Hunt, the duo took a fall after allegedly receiving bribes from Dana White and the Fertittas. As such, after he appealed to the Ninth Circuit, he sent a stern warning to White and the UFC on social media.

Neither the UFC nor Dana White has responded to Hunt’s statements. Nevertheless, there is cause for worry for White, particularly as Hunt recently revealed White and Brock Lesnar did not move for attorney money.
