Even though the dua-sport athlete, Puka Nacua is stepping into his second year in the National Football League with the Los Angeles Rams, he seems still quite invested in his former sport, the NBA. More recently, the NBA game which caused a stir on social media as well as within the industry, Lakers-Nuggets, the wide receiver couldn’t help but react to it.

On Tuesday, the Denver Nuggets scored a victory against the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 2 of their playoff series. But how that victory came to them was the biggest highlight of the game. It appears so, Lakers’ D’Angelo Russell was fouled by the Nuggets’ Michael Porter Jr. late in the third quarter.

However, crew chief Scott Foster overturned the initial review of the foul and announced the challenge by the Nuggets was successful. It was said that the NBA officials found the contact required for it to be foul was marginal. However, the Lakers weren’t happy about it and so weren’t many others.

The Rams receiver was among those who called out the poor officiating at the game. Seeing the horrendous officiating in the game, Nacua even demanded the NBA to cut Foster off the officiating job, on his social media.

Scott Foster is gotta get cut from the league. Too many big games hes been apart of the are horribly officiated.

How Cooper Kupp’s injury opened doors for Puka Nacua’s opportunity to shine

When Nacua declared himself for the 2023 NFL Draft, he didn’t have many too many suitors considering the fact, he was coming off a good career in the NBA. But the Rams stepped forward and drafted him using their fifth-round pick.

If it wasn’t for Cooper Kupp, who got sidelined due to his ankle injury, Nacua may have never gotten an opportunity to prove his worth. As he did, he impressed everyone posting 25 catches and just two games. As the season ended, the receiver logged 105 passes for 1,486 yards and six touchdowns.

Given his high stats from the past season, there’s a lot of expectation from him in his second year. However, Nacua is wise enough to know there is still a long way ahead for him to build his name close to the success Kupp has. And the 2023 season wasn’t sure of the standards for him to be chosen above Kupp.
