On July 20th of this year, Jake Paul will take on Mike Tyson in an exhibition fight. The bout will be held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Paul had sought a fight with Tyson for a long time, but no one ever thought it would reach fruition. As such, Shaquille O’Neal has now chimed in with his opinion about this strange matchup.

‘Iron Mike’ was an absolute beast in his prime, but now he is 57 years old. Moreover, he will be 58 years old when the fight happens. As such, this fight has left many bewildered including Shaq. As such, O’Neal shared his opinion on “The Big Podcast’ and stated:

Hence, Shaquille O’Neal said what every combat sports fan has been thinking ever since the announcement of this fight. Furthermore, he questioned Paul’s morals since he is adamant about fighting a boxing legend who is close to 60 years old.

In addition, O’Neal believes that even if Paul wins, he won’t receive any credit, and even if he loses it will be the same. Additionally, O’Neal stated that Tyson can still knockout Paul but also mentioned that his age will hinder his performance.

The Paul vs. Tyson match-up has been the talk of the town for the past few weeks. As such, the bets for the fight are piling up, and the expectations are skyrocketing as July 20 draws near. Some people have their money on Tyson, while others are worried about the age thing.

Similarly, O’Neal believes that the fight could go either way but is concerned about the outcome. O’Neal stated that Mike Tyson is still the great fighter he was, however, age catches up to everyone.
