WWE Superstars often attend events for different sports, such as football, baseball, and even basketball, to enjoy themselves. As such, former WWE Champion Big E and former Women’s Champion Liv Morgan were recently spotted together at a basketball game between the Philadelphia 76ers and the New Orleans Pelicans.
They had the privilege of ringing the bell together during the pre-game festivities. Both superstars and 76ers fans enjoyed the pre-game festivities, but the result didn’t go their way. In a close encounter, the 76ers lost their match 95-103 against the Pelicans. They are having an average season in the middle of the points table, with 35 wins and 28 losses.Â
The New Day member is recovering from a severe neck injury that he suffered two years ago on the March 11 episode of SmackDown. Since then, doctors have advised him never to step a foot inside the ring, despite not having severe damage to his neck. It is still unclear when Big E will return to the WWE. He stated that, at this stage, he would like to focus on doing other things with his life.Â
Meanwhile, Liv recently returned from an injury at the Royal Rumble and finished in the final two. However, the eventual winner, Bayley, threw her out to punch her ticker to WrestleMania. Furthermore, she once again failed to win the Elimination Chamber match for the chance to fight for the World Title at WrestleMania. After coming close on two occasions, it will be interesting to see what lies ahead for the popular star.
Big E pays tribute to Akira Toriyama
WWE Superstar Big E was extremely sad when he heard the news about the passing of popular character designer and Manga artist, Akira Toriyama. The WWE Universe knows how big of a fan he was of anime, especially of the Dragon Ball series. Therefore, he expressed his sorrow and paid tribute to him on social media.Â

Most notably, The New Day came out wearing the same dress Goku wore in Dragon Ball, and Rhea cosplayed as Vegeta during her match vs. Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 36.
