Austin Reaves had nothing but praise for D’Angelo Russell after their hard-fought win against the Oklahoma City Thunders. The Lakers were dominant throughout the game but it was Russell’s output that Reaves couldn’t resist but put applause to his name.

After the game, both players took to the post-game interview talking about the game, and in an instance, Reaves was full of praises for D’Angelo Russell who was the star of the night, contributing to 26 points, six rebounds, and three assists. But it was the way he executed them that really caught Austin Reaves’ eyes.

The way he gets his buckets in spurts like that…it’s a beautiful thing to see.

Reaves, who himself had quite an effective game, scoring 16, seven assists, and six rebounds helped the Los Angeles Lakers get their 34th win of the season. But for last night, it was all Russell doing all the talking on the court.

LA Lakers cruise past ‘inform’ OKC side

The Los Angeles Lakers shocked everyone with an important win against an in-form Oklahoma City Thunder’s side at their home grounds in what was a game of four halves. The Lakers hosted OKC at Chase Center with the visitors coming in as the favorites with 43 wins and second in the Western Conference table.

But the tables were quick to flip thanks to D’Angelo Russell and Anthony Davis’ contributions of 50 points, the underdogs won at the end with a scoreline of 116-104. LeBron James, who added to the 40,000 milestone he reached last game, by scoring 19 continues to amaze the fans every game.

It has been a huge sign of relief for the fans after a series of defeats in the ongoing 2023-24 NBA season. While hopes for the playoffs can be a realistic dream, the hopes of actually achieving it are quite slim considering their up-and-down campaign.
