To forward a case or argument that Nikola Jokic is one of the best players in the league has been a debate of certainty for many parts.

With hopes of coming into the biggest league in the world and crushing it year after year, his growth as a player has been not only measured but respected by almost everyone. And That’s exactly what Brian Windhorst, or “Windy,” had to say about the Center.

He’s smarter than your coach. He knows where everybody is on the floor before they even move.
He said during an interview with Stephen A Smith

Brian was full of praise during an interview with Stephen A. Smith after his stellar performance in their 127-112 win against the Portland Trail Blazers. And rightfully so, Nikola has been delivering fear into the hearts of many teams for the last few years.

Surprisingly, the two-time MVP award winner has never been a favorite at the start of the season. But by the time the season ends for the Denver Nuggets, the profound effect and hard work are then shown and respected.

The same can be said for this season, as the Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic sit fourth in the Western Conference and are looking more and more like favorites for the playoffs.

With a record of 38-19, their journey to defending their title from last year is already over. While it is indeed a big ask for The Joker, given the season he is having and what he has done over the years, surprising things have happened, and Jokic won’t mind pulling out another of those stellar performances from his hat for the Denver Nuggets.

Nikola Jokic favorite to win his 3rd MVP

The 3rd MVP award waits patiently as Nikola Jokic gets closer and closer to getting his hands on the award again. And given the season he is having, there is no reason not to put him as the favorite till the end of the season.

Currently 4th in their league with a record 38 wins and 19 wins in the season already, they look to get the title back after that glorious run last season. But amongst the team’s stellar performances, it is Nikola Jokic who has been at the center of pulling all the strings.

Averaging 26.0 points, 12.2 rebounds, 9.1 assists, and a field goal percentage of 58.4, his contributions have been felt hugely throughout the season.

And while Luka Doncic and Joel Embiid, who is also part of the conversation, look favorable for the elusive trophy, all signs and votes suggest Nikola Jokic is on his way to getting his third MVP.

And given yet another triple-double against the Portland Trail Blazers, he continues to make the argument more favorable towards him. While his form continues on the court, it will only be a matter of time before he gets that 3rd MVP and possibly the title back-to-back.
