Despite having a lot of rest days before and after the All-Star break, James will still miss the game. Basketball fans were baffled by this news. The extent of the injury to LeBron James is unknown. This might be the same ankle issue that has kept him out of a few games this season. However, the break should keep him rested. James and the Lakers have to win the game against the Warriors to keep their momentum strong for a push toward the playoff spots.
Whether James picked up or aggravated this injury during the All-Star game, is unknown. However, it comes at a bad time for the Lakers. They have games against fellow Western Conference playoff contenders coming up this month. And the Lakers cannot take their foot off the pedal now.
