Born September 29, 1988, in Washington, D.C., Kevin Durant spent his early childhood in Prince George County, Maryland. He would go on to attend multiple high schools in Virginia and Maryland before pursuing college football at the University of Texas at Austin.

Originally drafted by the Seattle Supersonics in the 2007 NBA draft, who would become the Oklahoma City Thunder, Durant had a spectacular start to his professional career with the franchise. He won the League MVP in 2014 and even helped the franchise reach the 2012 NBA Finals but unfortunately lost to the Heat.

It was in 2016 that Durant joined the Golden State Warriors and went on to secure two championship rings with the Dubs. His later stints with the Brooklyn Nets did not come as remarkable and in February 2023, the Nets traded Durant to the Phoenix Suns.

Wright is a former WNBA player who has played for multiple franchises in the league back in her days. Although Monica and Kevin got engaged in 2013, they would eventually split ways, ending their engagement. Monica later married Michael Rogers.
