The annual NBA All-Star games were held last weekend. It was a grand event, and the NBA raised a lot of money for charity. It was an enjoyable weekend for both fans and players. Players were able to have some fun and take a break from the competition. Many players and broadcasters had some hilarious moments during the weekend.
One of them was when the Golden State Warriors star player Draymond Green joined Charles Barkley to do commentary for the All-Star game between Team East and Team West. The whole broadcast was hilarious, and the two showcased their great sense of humor. But one moment caught everyone’s attention.
As the game was ending, Barkley was saying thank you to his co-commentators. He thanked Taylor Rooks and said he always wanted to work with her. While thanking Draymond Green, he quickly said,
Dray, you’re one hell of a player. Good luck in the play-in!
Everybody in the room started laughing, including Green. But the four-time champion was also quick to respond to Barkley and said,
Here, Chuck. take my ring.
Barkley had an amazing basketball career, but he never won a championship.
The Warriors, on the other hand, have been struggling for this entire season. They have many ups and downs, including injuries of the players and Green’s suspension. They are ranked 10th in the Western Conference table. If their performance does not improve, they are more likely to compete in the play-in first to qualify for playoffs.
Draymond Green’s return could turn Warriors’ season around
On December 12, Draymond Green was suspended by the NBA for hitting Phoenix Suns Jusuf Nurkic in the face during a game. The suspension was indefinite, as Green was caught being aggressive on the court more than a few times. Green underwent counseling for his behavior.

The forward’s absence and return both have impacted the Warriors’ performance tremendously. The team has been struggling on the defensive end more than any other. Since the end of January, the record has gone up to 7-2. The performance of the team, not just Green’s, has changed drastically. Players like Gary Payton and Chris Paul are also returning from injury. If the Warriors play like their current performance, they have a chance to qualify for playoffs and save the season.
