Despite not being chosen for this year’s All-Star Game, Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors traveled to Indiana to be the host. There were a lot of funny jabs between Charles Barkley and Green during their alternate TNT broadcast of the game, which Green co-hosted with Barkley and Taylor Rooks. Barkley was only curious about who would do well, but Green projected that his colleague, Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors, would win MVP.
The East scored more than 200 points during their victory over the West. Karl-Anthony Towns, the standout player for the Minnesota Timberwolves, was getting hot late in the game when Green once made a shot at him. Karl-Anthony Towns scored 50 points throughout the game, most of which came during trash time. He made a playful comment, implying that this was how KAT spent most of his career.
