Earlier today, Shaquille O’Neal replied to Kanye West on Instagram, calling him out for talking about not being welcomed to the area where Taylor Swift was. Since then, O’Neal has deleted that reply. Now, West has edited his original post and added O’Neal and his friend Jamie Salter’s names in the post. The post from O’Neal did ruffle some feathers as it put West in a bad spot with fans.
In a turn of events, Kanye West decided to patch things up with O’Neal and Salter. After O’Neal’s deleted Instagram reply went viral, West decided to edit his original post. He added this towards the end of his message saying;
Oh and to Shaq I grew up looking up to you I would love to hang with you and Jamie sometime Jaimie Salter is like a father figure to me.
Kanye West added
It seems from this post, that Kanye West did not want any feud to develop between him O’Neal and Salter. After all, both are quite influential in their own respect. West wanted them to hang out with him. West does not want any further negative attention than he is already facing.
NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal and the $1 billion businessman Jamie Salter are good friends and business partners. They have their own fan bases and loyalties. O’Neal is a known admirer of Taylor Swift. West on the other hand is not on good terms with Swift.

O’Neal and Salter’s loyalty to Swift is the reason West did not want any further tensions to build up. West has an album out and needs all the fans to listen to his music and get him to the No. 1 spot.

Shaquille O’Neal and Kanye West are two individuals of different fan followings. However, they crossed paths when West questioned about a report stating that O’Neal and Salter were in an equal partnership in the company Authentic Brands Group.

Kanye West seems to want to shut down the beef with Shaquille O’Neal. He did that by editing his post on Instagram. The coming days will show if O’Neal actually quashes the beef and ‘hangs out’ with West.
