Basketball Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal was at the Super Bowl LVIII last weekend. And he used that opportunity to meet up with some of the biggest celebrities and sporting greats possible. O’Neal had his dream come true when he met well-known musicians Taylor Swift and Ice Spice. He had the opportunity to meet Kanye West which apparently did not happen. So when West posted a message on his official Instagram mentioning that Swift and others avoided West, O’Neal called West out.
West posted that he was avoided by businessman Jamie Salter who was in the group with O’Neal and Swift. He also mentioned that Salter did not return his calls. To this in a now-deleted post, O’Neal replied to West saying;
Who cares, stop b*tchin and snitchin.
O’Neal mentioned that West had seen him and still did not meet him. According to West, he did not show any interest in meeting with the group. So he should not be crying about it.
Reports suggested that Kanye West was shut down by Taylor Swift, Salter, and others from meeting them. It seems West took this situation to heart and posted an emotional outburst. O’Neal calling him out was instantly recognized by fans from across the globe.
Now Shaquille O’Neal might have deleted the post after being advised to. After all, he stood up for Swift and Salter when he did not have to. Maybe the PR agencies suggested that a beef will go nowhere. O’Neal wanted to meet Kanye West, but apparently, the emotions between West and O’Neal’s new friends were too much to take.
Shaquille O’Neal is a huge star. The most dominant big man in basketball history has made it a habit of meeting the right people. He made public his interest in meeting Taylor Swift during the Super Bowl. He would have also liked to meet Kanye West. But the massive ego clash between West and Swift’s entourage denied O’Neal his moment.

Had Shaquille O’Neal not deleted his post, probably this beef would have gone to new levels. Maybe Swift encouraged O’Neal to avoid it from blowing up. But fans got their entertainment.
