Following the victory of the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII, congratulatory messages poured in from all corners of the world. This time, politicians have taken more interest than usual in football.
The reason being the upcoming presidential elections. President Joe Biden immediately tweeted a bizarre image of him with evil eyes and captioned it “Just like we drew it up,” alluding to the fact that the Super Bowl was scripted.
His ties to Taylor Swift have been in question. The pop star vouched for him in the 2020 Presidential campaign. This time, Hillary Clinton, another Democrat, stepped in and congratulated the Kansas City Chiefs over their victory in the Super Bowl. However, Clinton decided to appease the Swiftie community with the manner in which she structured her tweet.

She congratulated the winners of the Super Bowl and made Taylor Swift’s fanbase happy with this message. Hillary Clinton is referring to Travis Kelce with her message in this instance.
While Hillary Clinton’s message appeased one community, it enraged another. The football community, a part of whom have not been happy about the constant coverage of Taylor Swift, lashed out at the 76-year-old. To some, this was confirmation of the far-right conspiracy theory according to which Taylor Swift is Joe Biden’s pawn and her relationship with Travis Kelce is just a means for the Democrats to secure a victory in the elections.

Hillary Clinton’s response to the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl was surprising, but maybe she was being jovial. Some fans online got the humor in it and most did not. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce kissed after the tight end won his third Super Bowl ring. It has been a historic season for Kelce who is inching closer to earning the title of the greatest tight end to ever play the game.
