The go-home edition of SmackDown for Money in the Bank was aired live from The O2 Arena in London. As the hype for the Saturday event multiplied, Damage CTRL went brutal over Shotzi as she approached them backstage. The 31-year-old was furious due to her unfortunate loss against Bayley and went on to attack her. But that turned against her, as she was smashed by Iyo Sky and Bayley, with the latter cutting off her hair as a punishment.
Last week’s episode of SmackDown was scheduled to have a match between Bayley and Shotzi. It was supposed to have a strange stipulation favoring Shotzi, as her victory would replace Bayley with her in the Money in the Bank ladder match. Upon this announcement, fans were excited to see the final structure of the ladder match, with either Bayley or Shotzi taking up the spot. However, due to Vince McMahon, that match was altered, which then happened this week on SmackDown.
The match between Bayley and Shotzi started with the crowd supporting the former. The Damage CTRL leader emerged victorious in the matchup with a little help from Iyo Sky. Being frustrated by the constant distraction and losses at the hands of Damage CTRL, Shotzi went backstage to smash the duo. Bayley and Iyo were celebrating their secure spots in the ladder match. It was then that Shotzi approached them and argued with them, assaulting them.
Although Shotzi’s anger justified hitting them backstage, the Damage CTRL attacked her and suplexed her on a table. Sky then held Shotzi, who was seen in excruciating pain after getting her back smashed on an actual table. Bayley then asked her, “You wanna mess with Damage CTRL?” and she cut off the part of her beloved greenish hair. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion walked away with those hairs and left Shotzi in a helpless condition on the table.

And in a shocking turn of events, Bayley’s match with Shotzi was pulled off last week and happened this week on SmackDown.
With a short distraction by her stablemate Iyo Sky, Bayley picked up the win. Her victory has secured her spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match. This was followed by Shotzi’s outbreak due to her another distractive loss. As a result, she attacked Bayley and Sky backstage but instead got her hair chopped off by the former SmackDown Women’s Champion.
Bayley took to Instagram to address her fans, posting a picture of herself with Shotzi’s hair. She was seen sleeping on the floor, smiling while holding Shotzi’s cut-off green hair close to her face. She wished Good Night to her fans and wrote about seeing them again tomorrow at Money in the Bank.
