Rollins liked that part of being a champion and stated that it was the essence of being a champion. He grew up watching stars like Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, and Ric Flair do the defense on a regular basis. He said that even his former co-workers, like CM Punk and John Cena, are his inspiration.
Seth Rollins then stated the type of champion he never wished to be. He mentioned Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar and spoke about their occasional title defenses. The 37-year-old stated that a certain difference was felt in the roster during Lesnar’s reign. He even said that those champions were not great for the business.
