MS Dhoni’s fandom is not limited to his country but people from across the world are the former India captain’s die-hard fans. An Afghanistan cricketer was lucky enough to receive a special gift from the man himself.
Though the craze for the legendary MS Dhoni has always been there, this edition of the TATA IPL witnessed unwavering support and deafening cheers for the CSK skipper on every ground, whether home or away. With retirement rumors going on, everyone wanted to get a glimpse of their beloved ‘Thala’ and just wanted to enjoy his presence. The CSK fan army made sure to paint all stadiums yellow to show their undying love and support towards MS Dhoni and the Chennai Super Kings.
It is no news that along with the audience, many cricketers are die-hard MS Dhoni fans too. Players like Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya and Deepak Chahar are often seen fanboying over their ‘Mahi Bhai’. Another such cricketer is Afghanistan’s Rahmanullah Gurbaz. The Afghani was lucky enough to receive a signed jersey from Dhoni and took to Instagram to express his gratitude.
