Karl-Anthony Towns is in the midst of a career-best season with the New York Knicks. As the Knicks star continues to dominate the league, he is making a strong bid to be named one of the top All-Stars in the Eastern Conference and perhaps even a starter. With All-Star voting drawing towards its penultimate stage, Towns’ long-term girlfriend Jordyn Woods made her case for the big man’s All-Star case.
In a video posted by Karl-Anthony Towns to his X account, Woods rallied for her partner’s selection to the All-Star game, listing out her favorite moment from him on the court. In the video, Jordyn Woods can be seen repping some Knicks paraphernalia with a vintage Knicks T-shirt. She chose her favorite moment from KAT in a Knicks jersey as his reenactment of Michael Jordan’s famous shrug celebration.

The video quickly cut to a mixtape of Towns dominating with the ball in his hands, including a clip of Woods’ favorite moment of Towns draining a fadeaway jumper from the baseline. The clip was certainly an endearing moment as Woods shared her support for her longtime partner.
Karl-Anthony Towns and Jordyn Woods have been dating for nearly half a decade entering 2025. The couple went official in 2020 during the pandemic-induced lockdown, having been close friends for many years prior. Woods, herself, is a model, so it certainly is fair to assume that the bright lights of New York are suiting her as well as they are for Towns.
Karl-Anthony Towns continues to cement All-Star starter bid
Making the All-Star game is nothing new for Karl-Anthony Towns. The big man has been selected for the vaunted event four times before and is well on his way to securing his first selection as an All-Star starter. As the NBA’s third round of fan poll results for the All-Star game rolled around this past week, Towns remained near the top of the list, securing the 3rd highest votes amongst Eastern Conference forwards.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokić lead their respective conferences in the third fan returns of #NBAAllStar Voting presented by AT&T.

He trailed only Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jayson Tatum in votes amongst forwards in the East, and as he continues to put up MVP-level numbers, it will be no surprise to see Towns make his first appearance as an All-Star starter this season.
So far this season, Karl-Anthony Towns has averaged 25.1 points, 13.8 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in 39 games this season while leading the New York Knicks to a 28-16 record for the 3rd seed in the Eastern Conference. This comes after the Minnesota Timberwolves decided to trade away their franchise big man to the Knicks in the offseason.
As Towns continues to put up big numbers, he may soon be past just All-Star conversations, making himself a dark horse candidate to win the award. In the NBA’s latest MVP ladder, KAT ranked fourth trailing only Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Nikola Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo, respectively. With a little more success and a lot of luck, Karl-Anthony Towns may have an outside shot at a podium finish in the MVP race.
