During this weekโs Raw broadcast, WWE announced that Seth Rollins will have a sit-down conversation with Pat McAfee tomorrow afternoon. This isnโt going to be the first occasion where The Visionary meets The Boomstick on his talk show. However, as the World Heavyweight Champion, Rollins will add more gravity to that bound-to-be-amazing interview, tomorrow at 12:20 EST.
Even though McAfeeโs WWE involvement has reduced drastically over the past year, he still loves this business. During a recent interview, Pat revealed that heโs in touch with WWE to discuss his potential role on their product whenever the opportunity arrives. He last appeared for WWE at WrestleMania 39 beating The Miz in an impromptu match.
Since then, the former Indianapolis Colts punter have stayed away from wrestling. Recently, he inked a 5-year deal with ESPN, which further deviates him from in-ring aspirations. Also, he just became a father and has several other ventures lined up. Thatโs enough to keep him away from fulfilling his dreams, if any, in WWE. Even though heโs made clear that he still plans on earning himself a spot into the WWE Hall of Fame someday, itโs all in the dusk right now.
Seth Rollins had a rough night on WWE Raw this week
This weekโs Raw kicked-off with a scheduled open challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship. Seth Rollins arrived and took the centre-stage, basking in the euphoria of this battle hymn. However, that didnโt last long as Finn Balor crashed the party. The Judgment Day member blindsided Rollins from behind. He then started unloading rights and lefts on the World Champion.
After some back-and-forth, the WWE officials showed up to control the wildfire. Even after portraying heโs done, Balor ran through everyone to stomp Rollinsโ abdomen thrice. It was the most vicious Finnโs looked in a while. Needed to be said, that ambush really helped The Prince to soften up The Architect a bit. But wait, it never stopped there.
After the commercial break, Seth once again suffered the wrath of an unhinged Finn Balor. Getting banged up so badly, Rollinsโ open challenged got canceled for the night. Many fans believe that Cleveland native Johnny Gargano was originally going to answer Sethโs call tonight. However, Vince McMahon reportedly did some changes to that opening segment.
