Legendary NBA players Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley have been out of the league for a long. Nevertheless, living life to the fullest is a part of retirement. This includes making light-hearted jabs at one another as experts on Inside the NBA. Notably, Barkley seemingly trolled O’Neal regarding the all-time shot-blocking list in the NBA.
Back in his prime, O’Neal was a beast for whichever teams he featured. He had it all, from shot-blocking in defense to scoring hard layups in attack. Given that, the TNT crew discussed the top all-time shot-blocking list, where O’Neal was ranked 3rd. Regarding this, his crewmate Barkley was left unimpressed by the 7’1″ inch giant.
Charles Barkley said on the NBA on TNT, “Come on man, I thought you were a great player,” regarding him finishing third below the likes of Hakeem Olajuwon and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Since the 2011–12 campaign, O’Neal and Barkley have co-starred on the Inside the NBA panel. Interestingly, the two are always take light-hearted jabs at each other in a humorous way, keeping the NBA fans entertained.

Aside from this, given that TNT is anticipated to lose its NBA coverage rights following the 2024–25 season as a result of a new agreement with Amazon, Disney, and NBC, this could be the last season of Inside the NBA. The show’s future is still up in the air, but it appears to be ending soon on TNT.
Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith ‘team up’ to scare Charles Barkley
Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley have been one of the NBA’s most popular and entertaining duos. They both enjoy making fun of each other during the performance. To frighten Barkley, O’Neal teamed up with another crew member, Kenny Smith.
To observe Barkley’s response, they dropped a fake alligator from the ceiling. Barkley gave a stunned reaction at first glance, which left the rest of the crew members in laughter. They could not hold their laughter after they saw Barkley’s reaction in slow motion on live TV.

Without a doubt, O’Neal thoroughly enjoyed the hilarious portion. Shaq frequently mocks his close friend Barkley, and vice versa. On and off the screen, the two celebrities have a strong friendship and often seem to be having a go at one another. There have been several occasions where the two have taken jabs at each other, with this one being the most recent.
