Technology has revolutionized the way we live and work. From the way we communicate to the way we conduct business, technology has changed every aspect of our lives. With the advent of the internet, the world has become a global village, and we are now able to connect with people from different parts of the world in real-time. This has had a profound impact on the way we do business, and companies are now able to reach out to a wider audience than ever before. In this article, we will explore the ways in which technology has transformed the business landscape.

Quincy Promes, aged 31, has been convicted of assault by a Dutch court and has received an 18-month prison sentence. He was involved in an altercation in 2020 where he stabbed his cousin in the knee. He is also currently being held for a massive drug-trafficking allegation.

He has managed to avoid charges of attempted murder and manslaughter. Despite his denial of the accusations, Dutch prosecutors have deemed the evidence against him substantial enough to warrant a prison term.

The forward was absent during the court’s verdict in his home country. It remains uncertain whether he will return at all. He was playing for Ajax at the time of the incident.

Currently residing in Russia due to his contract with Spartak Moscow, Promes has been sentenced to eighteen months of imprisonment based on the testimonies of two eyewitnesses and the uncovering of conversations on his phone. He has also been instructed to provide €7,000 in compensation to his victim.

The court emphasized that Promes’ sentence would have been more lenient, reducing the prison time by approximately six months, if he had attended the relevant hearing and displayed any remorse for his actions.

Promes has achieved 50 international appearances, with his most recent appearance being as a substitute in the Netherlands’ elimination by the Czech Republic during the round of 16 in Euro 2020. However, he has not been chosen for the national team since that time.

Promes is also being invested for another charge and is currently facing prosecution in the Netherlands for his alleged participation in drug trafficking. The allegation, if proven, will land him a larger jail sentence.

According to prosecutors, the former international is suspected of being involved in the smuggling of 1,360 kilograms of cocaine to the Netherlands or Belgium. The alleged incidents occurred in two separate shipments in 2020, as stated in an email by the prosecutors. It does not look good for his career as he remains involved in legal issues.
