Conor McGregor has been out of action for more than three years now. From his Hollywood debut to the civil lawsuit, during this period, things have changed a lot for the ‘Notorious’. However, the former UFC champion is now ready to fight again, and Jake Paul is his new target.
Last week, McGregor announced that he is in talks with the billionaire Ambani family to fight Logan Paul in India. However, the latest developments on this matter suggest that instead of Logan, McGregor will fight Jake. According to reports, this fight is expected to take place in India next year between July and September.
The news has since gone viral and attracted massive attention from fight fans. A few days ago, Jake Paul mocked McGregor for taking help from his brother. Now, his name has been getting linked with the ‘Mystic Mac’. However, this is something that Paul has been chasing after for the last four years.

Between both Paul brothers, Jake is definitely the bigger draw in boxing. Given his last fights, he has the ability to pull more numbers by pay-per-view sales. It would be interesting to see whether there is going to be any official announcement regarding this matter.
Jake Paul talks about fighting Conor McGregor
Jake Paul and Conor McGregor’s rivalry revolves around Paul’s relentless trash-talking and challenges to fight the UFC superstar. Paul has frequently mocked McGregor online, targeting his losses, personal life, and stature. The ‘Notorious’, on the other hand, has dismissed Paul as irrelevant, fueling their feud with insults.
The tension kept fans speculating about a possible crossover bout. Jake Paul always gets asked about potentially fighting McGregor. In an interview, he talked in detail about why McGregor is allegedly scared of fighting him.
McGregor’s last outing as a boxer was against Floyd Mayweather, which turned out to be the biggest pay-per-view event in combat sports history. While it will be hard to chase those numbers, Paul vs. McGregor does have the potential to be the biggest event of 2025. However, as expected with McGregor, nothing is confirmed until he’s inside the boxing ring.
