Paddy Pimblett is one of the most talked-about fighters on the current UFC roster. Despite not yet being a top-ranked contender, the British sensation has captured the attention of millions of fans worldwide. Known for his charismatic personality and unorthodox fighting style, Pimblett has managed to generate immense hype around his career.
With fans eagerly anticipating his next bout, rumors are swirling that he could face a top lightweight contender. Pimblett talked about this on his YouTube channel, which has a whopping 1 million subscribers. In the video, ‘Baddy’ used Michael Chandler’s famous quote to announce his next opponent.
As anticipated, the announcement quickly went viral, sparking widespread speculation about the potential matchup. While Chandler has yet to confirm the fight, many fans remain optimistic. On paper, a lightweight showdown between Pimblett and ‘Iron’ promises to be an electrifying contest, which has fans hyped.
Pimblett is undefeated in the UFC and, in his last fight, defeated King Green via submission. On top of it, the Scouser knows how to market himself, which is the reason for the buzz around it. While this could be a great fight for Chandler, there are definitely some reservations about the fighter.
Michael Chandler still wants the ‘red panty night’
Michael Chandler was determined to be the one to welcome Conor McGregor back to the UFC in his highly anticipated return. He came close to accomplishing that dream at UFC 303, but the bout ultimately fell through. Since then, a series of events have unfolded, making Chandler’s hopes of securing a lucrative payday against McGregor seem increasingly unlikely.
Chandler has publicly shown his dissatisfaction with McGregor and his false promises. However, it seems like the former Bellator champion has not lost all of his hope. With recent news about McGregor fighting Logan Paul in India, Chandler shot his last chance on X.

Apart from that, Chandler recently locked horns with Charles Oliveira in a high-octane lightweight clash. The fighter wanted to beat the former champion and get close to a title shot. However, the reality was different, and ‘Do Bronx’ won the fight via unanimous decision. It would be interesting to see how Chandler bounces back following the loss.
