In the past, many UFC superstars such as GSP, Conor McGregor, etc have worked in Hollywood. Given the success and payout, it won’t be surprising to see Jones taking this very seriously. It seems like Jones is extremely sorted about his position as a professional fighter and taking his decision with an open mind.
Jon Jones talks about his retirement philosophy
Jon Jones is one of the most dominant fighters in UFC history, holding the record for the longest light heavyweight title reign. With unmatched fight IQ, elite striking, and wrestling, he’s defeated legends like Daniel Cormier and Shogun Rua. His versatility and resilience define his legacy as an all-time great with a huge fan base.
Despite his controversies outside of the octagon, fans are desperate to see him fight inside the octagon. However, ‘Bones’ is careful and doesn’t want to take any unnecessary risks at this time of his career. In a recent interview, he talked about his retirement objectives.
In a sport where many legends face mental trauma and CTE, it’s refreshing to see Jones being aware of its impact.
