On Tuesday, Dennis Schroder had his first media appearance as a Golden State Warriors player.
The Brooklyn Nets acquired the seasoned point guard earlier this week through a trade deal. His move has added some much needed star power to the Warriors roster. The move has left the fans excited for the remainder of the 2024-25 NBA season.
Schroder spoke about various topics regarding his trade deal to the media lately. He was ecstatic about ‘teaming up’ with Warriors star Stephen Curry. In addition to this, the son of Dennis Schroder adores Steph Curry. The Warriors’ newest player described his son Dennis Jr.’s response when he learned that he had been moved to Golden State.
The biggest difficulty for Steve Kerr and the remainder of the Warriors will be figuring out reliable scoring options after Curry. With just four victories in their last 13 games, the Golden State Warriors has cooled off after starting the 2024–25 NBA season hot. They are now 14–11 in the West. Also, they face a long season ahead after being knocked out of the NBA Cup lately.

Schroder will provide the Warriors with another potent two-way player who can make baskets. It is impossible to expect Curry to be exceptional every single night. Although Kerr did not rule out playing them together in the backcourt, he anticipates that the veteran will play the majority of the non-Curry minutes.
Dennis Schroder ‘raves’ about newest teammate Stephen Curry
Stephen Curry has been one of the most crucial players in Golden State Warriors history. He remains a joy to watch in the Warriors’ roster season after season. Regarding this, the newest addition Dennis Schroder seemed to agree on this take in his first media session as a Warrior. Schroder ‘raved’ about Curry to the media.
“Every time you go on the NBA app and see Golden State plays, you get excited because just how he (Steph) plays. He plays it like a video game. Having fun, laughing.”

He arrives in the Warriors’ roster shooting 45.2% from the field and 38.7% from three-point range. Also, the Warriors’ season has remained erratic. With a 14-11 record in 25 games, they are now ranked 7th in the Western Conference. The team needs consistency to reach the playoffs this season.
