Emma Raducanu became a young tennis sensation when she won the 2021 US Open and everyone wanted to know more about the Brit. However, her rise to fame also brought quite a few problems for Raducanu as she had always a few pair of eyes watching her. The one topic that has been spoken most about when it comes to the Brit is her inability to stick with one coach for long.
She has split with five different coaches in the last two years. Considering the fact that she is only 20 makes it an even more unorthodox move. At the age of 20 looking for your sixth coach is so queer that even the respected King Charles brought it up when he met the Brit ace.
In her brief meeting with the King of Great Britain, Raducanu was taken aback by a joke cracked by King Charles,“He asked me, ‘So have you found a coach?’ I was like ‘That’s good banter!’ It was so funny, I was laughing because everyone was ripping me for not having a coach. I was like ‘The fact that you know this, I feel honored.‘.”
Raducanu did take it in good spirits at that moment. She did laugh at the fact that the King knew her so well. How quickly will the Brit find her next coach still remains a mystery as she recovers from her injuries.

In an interview with the Sunday Times Raducanu had this to say, “Sometimes I think to myself I wish I’d never won the US Open. You have to be on guard because there are a lot of sharks out there.” She does feel that her win has attracted many people waiting to catch her at any delicate moment. She is going through a delicate injury period and she would not want any more negativity. For her, she would want to resolve this coach issue as soon as possible.
