For a fighter as outspoken as Jamahal Hill, one would think “Sweet Dreams” was going to come out of UFC 300 having knocked out Alex Pereira. Or any win at all, unlike the first-round destruction he suffered against “Poatan” back in April’s historic pay-per-view. Enter Jiri Prochazka to remind him exactly just that. Hill vs. Jiri Prochazka is the onset of a battle of former champs at UFC 311 PPV.

The matchup at the Inuit Dome in Inglewood will host UFC 311. After his UFC 300 defeat, Hill has become a polarizing figure. That did not stop him from running his mouth against what he thinks is subpar competition when Poatan defeated Khalil Rountree. That’s why Jiri Prochazka wants Hill to tone down his online criticism.

I’m really looking forward for my next fight, …Jamahal, don’t speak about my performances, fight I.Q. and all these things, because in your last fight, you didn’t show nothing, really

Prochazka will risk his 205-pound spot in the pecking order when he battles Hill as part of the upcoming UFC 311 event. He also tried a bid at the gold again. But Alex Pereira knocked the winds out of him too with a head kick and some ground pounds. As for Hill, he was to return to fight Carlos Ulberg at UFC 303 PPV but suffered another knee injury.

Prochazka looks to bounce back from losing to Pereira by head-kick knockout in June. Prior to that, he defeated Aleksandar Rakic via TKO at UFC 300. Prochazka has only lost to Pereira in his UFC tenure yet. Hence, he had some words for the top seed for gold as well

Fed-Up Jiri Prochazka ready for all — silences Magomed Ankalaev

Jamahal Hill is two places below title challenger Prochazka in 4th place. Per BetOnline.ag, he opened a slight betting favorite at -125, However, Prochazka was not far behind, at +105. However, it flipped just a few minutes after going live. “Sweet Dreams” is now at -107 compared to -113 for Prochazka. “Eerie Jiri” does not care for such fiscal strains or people running their mouths though. He is confident for gold.

Prochazka is a resilient follower of the disciplines of 61-duel “Kensei” and philosopher Miyamoto Musashi. The only “Samurai” around these parts, he is just here for grinding. While he couldn’t keep the momentum of his second-round TKO and ‘POTN’ Bonus award of $300k in April going, there’s still fight left in him. Hence he douses a few chosen words for the No. 1-ranked seed for gold Magomed Ankalaev.

This same guy, Ankalaev, in your last three fights, you showed totally nothing, …So stay on the ground.

Jiri Prochazka further said (@jiri_bjp)

Ankalaev, Hill, and others have confidently (perhaps over-confidently) touted beating Alex Pereira at his own game and slicing gold. However, for most fighters, it has not worked so far against the forward-pressure ‘Poatan’.

Jiri Prochazka also bills Ankalaev’s dousing standup challenges as a strict no-no. He warns him off to do his minimum on the ground. Will the Czech bring some new didactic to his own game? Will he challenge the gold again soon? Here’s looking forward to UFC 311.
