It’s been a while since legendary players Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley have retired from the NBA. That said, with retirement comes the act of living life to the fullest, which results in a lot of weight gain and an unhealthy lifestyle for athletes. O’Neal and Barkley faced a similar situation. Remarkably, Barkley and O’Neal have been trying to lose weight for some time.
In their efforts to regain their health at this age, both NBA superstars have made amazing strides. The two engaged in a friendly roasting session to ridicule one another about weight reduction on a recent episode of Inside the NBA. Both stars hilariously went at each other with O’Neal getting the better of Barkley at the end.
On the Inside the NBA show, Jalen Rose questioned O’Neal, “You told Zo you’re not drinking milk?” to which Shaq responded, “Low-fat milk.” This resulted in Barkley getting involved in the conversation. Charles Barkley said, “You already got the fat cut.” This provoked O’Neal to provide a fitting comeback. Soon after, Shaquille O’Neal said, “Ozempic still looking for your a**…Ozempic FBI, he’s right here.”

This is because Barkley substitutes the weight-loss medication Ozempic for Mounjaro. O’Neal is criticizing him for not using the conventional one. Chuck is a strong supporter of complete openness. Despite his weight loss journey, in which he has lost over 60 pounds, he is open to sharing his experience. He revealed the secrets about his journey in a recent episode of Pat McAfee‘s show.
Not the FIRST time Shaquille O’Neal ‘roasted’ Charles Barkley
One of the NBA’s most entertaining and adored combinations has been Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley. During the show, they both take pleasure in poking fun at one another. George Wallace, a stand-up comedian, was a recent special guest on Shaq’s podcast. O’Neal requested Wallace to ridicule Barkley during the podcast.

Following this, Wallace told additional jokes regarding Barkley that caused O’Neal to laugh uncontrollably. “Charles Barkley is so fat” served as the basis for all of the jokes. O’Neal undoubtedly loved every minute of the humorous part. O’Neal is known to make fun of his dear friend, Barkley, and vice-versa. Both stars share a great bond on and off the screen and always seem to be having a ‘go’ at each other.
