UFC superstar Conor McGregor was found guilty concerning a s*xual assault allegation from a past incident. Irish native Nikita Hand accused the Irishman of se*ually assaulting her in 2018. Recently, additional details regarding the alleged incident were presented at the High Court in Dublin, Ireland. Some of them were indeed disturbing.
The victim has alleged Conor McGregor had s*x with her without her consent while she was intoxicated in 2018. Nikita Hand alleges the incident took place in a hotel after a long night of partying. While criminal charges weren’t fully pursued, the victim filed a civil lawsuit in early 2021. Recently, the victim’s detailed statement about the whole incident has come out to the public.
Hand had to pause frequently during her emotional testimony. The victim recounted that McGregor threatened to kill her during their encounter. Moreover, Hand accused the Irishman of choking her, and instilling in her a deep fear for her life.
A paramedic who treated the victim’s injuries the following morning testified in the courtroom. As such, the paramedic was shocked to witness such severe bruising on the victim. According to the victim’s lawyer, Hand never pretended to be a saint. As such, she had gone out looking for a good time, but it ended up turning into a nightmare.

Furthermore, Hand’s lawyer stated that McGregor was angry about a fight he had lost two months earlier and took his frustration out on his client. Consequently, the victim’s lawyer even described the Irishman as a liar and a coward. However, McGregor still denies these allegations.

Throughout his esteemed UFC career, Conor McGregor has encountered numerous tough opponents. However, he has only suffered defeat by submission twice in the UFC. The first opponent to submit McGregor was Nate Diaz, who used a rear-naked choke. The second time, Khabib Nurmagomedov submitted the Irishman by employing a similar method.
According to his sexual assault victim, McGregor referenced his submission losses while pinning down Nikita Hand. However, the Irishman has clearly denied all these accusations. According to McGregor, everything that happened between him and Hand was consensual.
The Jury found McGregor liable for the s*xual assault of Hand and ordered him to pay approximately $260,000 in damages to the victim. However, the Irishman is dissatisfied with the verdict and has expressed his intention to appeal the jury’s decision soon.
