Roman Reigns is one of the greatest WWE Champions of all time. He is currently the most talked-about wrestler in the company, and his heel persona is doing a perfect job entertaining the fans. Reigns has held the WWE Universal Championship for more than a record 1,000 days now. And even after getting a new Undisputed Championship from Triple H, it seems WWE does not wish to take his old titles off him anytime soon.
The fans have been hating Roman for a long time now. It’s mainly due to the fact that Roman does not defend his title very often. He last defended the title at WrestleMania 39 against Cody Rhodes, which he eventually retained after defeating Rhodes. The WWE Universe really wants Reigns to defend his title more or drop it as soon as possible.
A few weeks ago, WWE presented a new title to Roman Reigns, which apparently replaced the two titles he had been holding. The new WWE Universal Championship looked quite stylish and classy, although it didn’t receive quite a good response from the fans. The older two titles that Roman Reigns was carrying were supposed to be replaced, but they have not been yet.
Roman Reigns appeared on the recent episode of SmackDown this week. But interestingly, Paul Heyman was carrying both the old titles while Roman was carrying the new one. The fans are quite confused over this fact since the older titles are meant to be replaced with the new ones.
According to reports, during the segment when Roman got the new title, apparently, Paul Heyman carried the old ones to the locker room instead of handing them to Triple H. WWE allowed this to make Roman look more strong and more dominant as a champion. Roman is trying to send a message to the world about his invincibility and that he is the greatest of all time.
The Bloodline finally breaks apart after three years
The Bloodline (via Sports Illustrated)This week’s SmackDown will probably go down in the history books of WWE. After much waiting, Jey Uso finally made his decision and took his stand. He chose his brother, Jimmy Uso, and super-kicked Roman Reigns in the face to end The Bloodline. It felt like a cinematic ending to this amazing faction.
Later, during the episode, both the Usos kicked Roman Reigns after he tried to stand up on his feet. The WWE universe was shocked at this jaw-dropping moment. Fans were thoroughly enjoying and cheering for The Usos throughout the segment. It will be interesting to see what happens next.
