Things went downhill quickly in the Golden State Warriors matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies. As the match drew to a close, things got heated between Warriors Star Draymond Green, Steve Kerr and the officials in the game. Even though the Warriors were winning the game handily, the officiating towards the end of the game riled up the Warriors head coach.
With just a few minutes to spare in the game, Steve Kerr was agitated by the officiating. Kerr pleaded with the referees after the Warriors were whistled for a soft foul call, but his agitation led to the referees handing him a technical foul.
Following the game, he took to the podium at the postgame presser and put the referees on blast.
Steve Kerr: โIt was just kind of disgusting, that last quarter and a half. I felt bad for our fans having to watch just what transpiredโฆ Iโm thrilled with the win. Love the way our guys competed. Just too bad the game had to devolve into a parade to the free throw line.โ ๐ฌ pic.twitter.com/DOvbZ7IALo

The Warriors were assessed with 20 fouls in the 2nd half alone by official Billy Kennedyโs crew. Steve Kerr was extremely agitated at the constant touch fouls being called on both sides of the floor. However, following his technical foul and an ejection for Draymond Green, Kerr lost his calm. After the game ended, he chased down the match officials to give them a fiery earful.

Steve Kerr loses โfavoriteโ rotation player to injury
The Golden State Warriors have had a tough week when it comes to the injury report. Following their big win over the Dallas Mavericks, Warriors guard DeโAnthony Melton was diagnosed with a sprained ACL. His injury is set to keep him away from the team for the foreseeable future. However, that wasnโt the end of the Warriors injury nightmare.
In Friday nightโs game against the Grizzlies, the Warriors lost another key player when Lindy Waters III was ruled out of the game with an injury. After getting Steve Kerrโs nod to start the game, Waters suffered a left knee hyperextension on a defensive play.

Further details about the timeline of Lindy Watersโ return from injury are yet to be disclosed. However, his absence will be a loss to Kerr, who described Waters as โone of the best playersโ on the team during training camp. Thankfully for the Warriors, their incredible bench depth will keep them afloat.
