Every fighter wants to compete in the UFC. Dana White has been in the fight business for over 20 years and has seen thousands of young talents. His Contender Series initiative primarily aimed to give chances to young fighters all over the world. However, as it turns out, there is another way for these fighters to get the attention of the UFC CEO.
The much anticipated UFC 308 will take place this weekend in Abu Dhabi. During the pre-fight press conference, a random Tajikistani fighter asked Dana White to give him a chance to fight in the UFC. Surprisingly, White called him up to the stage to take his information. In a recent interview, he discussed his future plans with the fighter.
As expected, this gesture from White revived a huge cheer from the fight fans and also raised intrigue above the fighter named Dorobshokh Nabotov. The 25-year-old professional MMA fighter from Tajikistan competes in the lightweight division. Training in Chelyabinsk, Russia, he holds an undefeated 7-0 record in the professional MMA circuit.

White has a good eye for emerging generational talents and regularly invests in their development in the UFC. Fighters such as Sean O’Malley and Raul Rosas Jr. are great examples of individuals who gained his backing and made it big. It will be interesting to see if Dorobshokh Nabotov can accomplish similar success, especially given the chance provided by Dana White.
