It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Liam Payne’s passing at the tender age of 31 in Argentina. He leaves behind his beloved 7-year-old son, Bear Grey Payne, his devoted parents, Geoff and Karen Payne, and his cherished older sisters, Ruth and Nicola.
Liam, a talented singer, and former partner of singer Cheryl Cole, welcomed their precious son on March 22, 2017. The joyous occasion was shared with the world through an Instagram post, as reported by People magazine. Despite their separation in 2018, the bond between Liam and Cheryl lives on through their son.
In a heartfelt moment on The Late Late Show With James Cordon in September 2017, Liam shared the endearing story behind his son’s unique name, Bear. It all began when young Bear would make rumbling noises in his sleep, prompting a visit to the doctor. To their relief, there was nothing wrong with Bear; he simply enjoyed making noise. And so, the name Bear was born out of love and laughter.
Liam’s desire to be a young father was evident in his words during an interview with People magazine in 2018.
