In a turn of events, Bala, a local actor, was granted bail just hours after his arrest under the Juvenile Justice Act. The Ernakulam Judicial First Class Magistrate, on a Monday, decided to release him on conditional bail. Reports from OnManorama reveal that the court has prohibited Bala from making any derogatory remarks about his ex-wife, Amritha Suressh, or their daughter on social media.

The actor must also make himself available for questioning whenever summoned by investigators. This development comes after a complaint was lodged against Bala by his ex-wife, Amritha, leading to his initial arrest by the Kadavanthra Police. Amritha accused him of tarnishing her and their daughter’s reputation on social media.

In her complaint, Amritha also alleged that Bala had been stalking and harassing their daughter post their divorce. The actor was apprehended from his residence in the early hours of Monday, October 14, and taken in for further interrogation.

Following Bala’s arrest, Amritha bravely came forward to share her harrowing experience. She recounted facing unbearable physical and mental torment, prompting her to leave their home to protect their daughter. Despite their separation, Bala continued to shadow them, disrupting their peace. The online harassment escalated to the point where even attending school became a challenge.

Amritha disclosed that they were subjected to constant threats from Bala, causing immense distress to their daughter, Avantika. She also refuted claims of embezzling large sums of money from him, clarifying that their divorce settlement was modest and the accusations were baseless.
