Ranbir Kapoor’s unforgettable portrayal of a singer in Rockstar continues to captivate audiences, earning him high praise for his flawless performance. Fans were truly mesmerized by his exceptional lip-syncing skills, so convincing that many were convinced he was actually singing. However, the tide turned when a viral behind-the-scenes video revealed the truth. Like many others, actor Vedang Raina, who looks up to Ranbir for inspiration, had a change of heart after witnessing the video. In a candid interview, Vedang shared his honest reaction: “Honestly, it was a bit disappointing.”

During a recent chat with Lallantop, Vedang opened up about how Ranbir Kapoor’s performance in Rockstar inspired him to pursue singing and performing. He expressed, “Ranbir’s lip-syncing is truly remarkable, and I have always been a huge admirer of his talent. So, I was quite curious, especially since Rockstar is my all-time favorite film, to watch the behind-the-scenes footage to see if he could actually sing.”

He went on to reveal, “I used to sing a little myself, and I always assumed there must be some pitch involved, but it was not the case. So, I took away from that experience the lesson that I shouldn’t focus too much on matching the pitch but rather on delivering a powerful performance.”
