Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless shared an amazing broadcasting partnership for Undisputed. The duo were together for 7 years; however, Sharpe decided to part ways under mysterious circumstances.
It is reported that the former Denver Broncos TE reached a buyout agreement with Fox Sports after working with them for 7 years. This decision came after some controversial conversations that happened on the show.
Stephen A. Smith is a prominent NFL analyst who has worked with Skip Bayless previously on ESPN’s First Take. Recently, Smith discussed about Sharpe and Skip’s breakup on his FanDuel show.
“I’ll confess I was a bit surprised,” Smith said. “I was surprised at the tears. I was surprised at the emotion. I’m quite sure some people out there thought it was fake as hell. I don’t feel that way.”
Smith was taken aback after this decision from Shannon Sharpe and also applauded both of the Undisputed hosts for handling how they ended their journey together.
“I know Shannon Sharpe a little bit. I know Skip Bayless very well,” Stephen A. Smith stated. “And to be honest with you, I was really proud of the way they ended their time together.”

“But I gotta tell you, it could not have been handled any better by Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless,” Smith said. “When you depart in the world of business, that’s how you do it. I’ve departed a few places. I haven’t said much but I damn sure didn’t do it that well.”
While Shannon Sharpe looks for a new job now, Skip Bayless will have to find a new co-host for the Undisputed. It is speculated that former NFL player LeSean McCoy will take Sharpe’s place in the Undisputed booth.
