In a heart-wrenching turn of events, the eldest daughter of the legendary Rajinikanth and the talented Dhanush, Aishwarya, shared the sad news of their separation in early 2022. The once inseparable couple is now on the difficult path towards divorce, with their case unfolding at the Chennai Family Court. However, a recent twist in their story emerged when they failed to make an appearance at the court, resulting in the adjournment of their case.

As reported by Times of India, the next chapter in Dhanush and Aishwarya’s journey is set to unfold on October 19, the new date for their divorce hearing. The couple’s absence during the recent court session made headlines, but with compassion and understanding, the judge granted them more time to prepare for the challenging road ahead.

Their union began in 2004, blossoming into 18 years of shared experiences, joys, and the gift of two sons, Yatra and Linga. Despite their best efforts, the couple made the difficult decision to go their separate ways. In a heartfelt message, Dhanush reflected on their journey, describing it as “18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents, and well-wishers to each other.”

Speaking to Cinema Vikatan, she acknowledged Dhanush’s pivotal role in Anirudh’s career, stating, “I have no part in him becoming a music director. Anirudhโ€™s entry into cinema is fully because of Dhanush.” She went on to reveal the unwavering support Dhanush provided, from encouraging Anirudh’s talents to elevating him to the position of composer in the film ‘3.’

While Aishwarya ventured into directing with the film Lal Salaam, Dhanush is gearing up for the release of Kubera, a promising project alongside Nagarjuna Akkineni and Rashmika Mandanna, under the direction of Sekhar Kammula.
