However, it was Phil Foden’s son, Ronnie who had a funny moment with Foden’s teammate, Erling Haaland. In a now-viral video, Foden’s little son can be seen running to Haaland, who was posing with the Champions League Trophy. “Haaland, I thought you were a girl,” said the little one to the Norwegian striker.
Ronnie, then tried to play with the Champions League trophy. He was then called back by his father, Phil. While a bemused Erling Haaland watched the young one run back. Ronnie is the first child of Phil Foden and his longtime girlfriend Rebecca Cooke.
The couple also have a young little daughter aged two, who was born in 2021. Ronnie was born to Phil and his girlfriend in 2019 when both of them were just 18. Phil is a devoted dad and his son Ronnie is seen often along with his City teammates. The father-son-duo attracts a lot of social media attention.

Academy Graduates Rico Lewis and Cole Palmer, alongside Phil Foden all won their first Champions League and were seen celebrating soon. Rico Lewis enjoyed a fun moment with Phil’s son, Ronnie. In a video, both of them can be seen grooving to music. The young Foden liked the video so much that he babbled “Send that to my dad” to a laughing Rico Lewis.
The Englishman has also dealt with his fair share of personal issues. The England star, along with sacked Manchester United player Mason Greenwood, was embroiled in a scandal in 2020 after bringing ladies into the Three Lions camp. During this time, Foden’s partner was also expecting Ronnie. Since then, Phil has apologized to his partner and cleaned up his behavior.
