The criticism had nothing to do with the 19-year-old’s performance but with his appearance. Moicano hosts his own podcast alongside fellow Brazilian Gilbert Burns. The Brazilian’s “the ugliest motherf***” he’s ever seen” remarks went viral. Recently, in an interview with MMA Guru, Moicano revealed his intention behind such a rude remark.

Despite the comments from Moicano, no beef exists between him and Raul Rosas Jr. He even continues to appreciate Rosas Jr. for his level of fighting at just 19 years old. Moicano also added he was fighting for ‘peanuts’ for 15 years. He lauds the Mexican for bringing in the money at such a young age. Rosas Jr. also plans to become the youngest UFC champion, surpassing Jon Jones‘ record.
Moicano is getting ready for a showdown later this week at UFC Paris against the home favorite Benoit Saint-Denis. However, the Brazilian star already has another rising contender in his division in sight. ‘Money Moicano’ recently expressed that Paddy Pimblett would be a tougher fight for him than #5 lightweight Dan Hooker.

It’s fair to say he can deliver his speech only if he gets past Saint-Denis first. Moicano even boldly claimed it makes no sense for Hooker to be in the top 5 of the lightweight division. But the Brazilian certainly prefers a fight with Pimbeltt over Hooker.
Pimblett is currently waiting for a fight after his victory over Bobby Green at UFC 304. Meanwhile, ‘The Hangman’ is on the wait for his next fight with potential opponents such as Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier. Only time will tell what future matchups unfold in the lightweight division.
