This new deal, according to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN, has brought his career earnings to $514.8 million, which has ranked him fourth in NBA history behind LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and Paul George.ย 

As a result, Joel Embiid has secured his future in Philadelphia through at least 2029 by agreeing to the three-year, $192.9 million contract extension with the 76ers. Fans of the 76ers will be thrilled as Embiid, who had two seasons left on his previous contract, will now be under contract through his age-34 season.

His career earnings will swell to $514.8 million with the new agreement, fourth highest in NBA history, trailing only LeBron James, Stephen Curry and Paul George.

Evident by his production, which has been especially notable, as he averaged 34.7 points, 11 rebounds, and 5.6 assists in 39 games during the 2023-24 season. Prior to that, he had a tremendous 2022-23 campaign in which he won his first MVP award.
