Ever since his UFC debut back in 2021, Paddy Pimblett has immense superstar potential. While his skills are stellar, his persona has helped him gain a decent level of fame among the UFC fans. The British fighter remains undefeated in the UFC and has a superstar trajectory. With such a following, there was no doubt that he came on the radar of UFC commentator and podcaster Joe Rogan.

Paddyย Pimblett is known for his drastic weight cuts and weight gains during and after his bouts. The Brit rarely stays in shape after competing. This time again, the massive weight gain has come to everyoneโ€™s notice. In the recent episode of his podcast with Matt Serra and Din Thomas, the UFC commentator showed his concern about Pimblettโ€™s eating disorder after his fights.

That’s a real eating disorder. He goes hard. He gained 40 pounds in a week! He’s Butterbean with that crazy hair.

Joe Rogan and Matt Serra were as baffled as they found it funny how different he looks between his fights. Cutting nearly 40 pounds before his fights is almost equal to going down two weight classes in the UFC. He also gained nearly 45 pounds after his victory against Bobby Green at UFC 304. Though Pimblettโ€™s weight cuts seem nearly impossible, Rogan believes nobody does it wilder than the Brit.

Paddy Pimblett stated that he automatically puts on pounds when he doesnโ€™t train. It is not the first time fans have witnessed โ€˜The Baddyโ€™ gaining weightย after a fight. It has never affected his performance inside the octagon, as heโ€™s finished most of his opponents. Nevertheless, it is not a healthy habit as Rogan believes. It might affect his long-term future in the sport.

Paddy Pimblettโ€™s diabolical diet post-fights and mental health struggles

Paddy Pimbelett has never been shy of letting everyone know how much he loves food. He has always let loose on his diet after fights and has carefree eating restrictions till his fight camps. This is not normal by any means for a UFC fighter. Usually, fighters take care of themselves when they are not training for a fight. This comes in the form of some diet, which Pimblett never takes seriously.

Paddy Pimblett just canโ€™t seem to curb his urges when it comes to food. Heโ€™s always seen downing pizza slices and beers after his victories, and surely nothing stops him in his offseason. He even knows the backlash fans give him for looking fat and chubby immediately after his fights.

We were eating all sorts lad. Probably start getting called a fat f**k by everyone.

The British rising star has vocally spoken about mental health and his battles with depression. He was close to canceling his fight against Bobby Green at UFC 304 after a phase of depression, but he carried on. Many fans seem to wonder if such massive weight gains are contributing to his mental health battles.

Excessive eating disorders can also occur from battles with depression. It is always nice to see fighters voice out on such issues. So far, Pimblett has got everything under control. It remains to be seen how far the British UFC star can go in his career.
