The Golden State Warriors Might Lose Another Star

The Golden State Warriors star duo Stephen Curry and Draymond Green are two important players for the franchise. Both stars are still playing for the same NBA side. They remain committed to the Warriors despite having many opportunities to leave the franchise for a better deal. That said, the Warriors head coach, Steve Kerr, discussed this similar situation in a recent interview.

Curry and Green will spearhead the attack and defense going into the 2024-25 NBA season, respectively. Kerr recently spoke about how the Warriors have done everything to satisfy the likes of Curry and Green. The coach even took it further by stating that the organization has never failed them anywhere. Whether it was financial or support-wise, the Warriors did everything right.

The one thing that Draymond and Steph will tell you is that this organization has never failed them. Joe Lacob, to his credit, has year in and year out spent every dollar trying to make this team great. The rosters that have been put around Steph and Draymond, they would both tell you they can โ€˜t ask for anything more.

In addition, Kerr also spoke about how the roster is shaping up ahead of the 2024-25 NBA season. Kerr and his Warriors side will be looking to bounce back after a poor 2023-24 NBA season. Some would think Kerr does have a point as the Warriors have always fulfilled Curry as well as Greenโ€™s numerous demands.

In return, the stars have given the franchise some much-needed success. They have won 4 NBA titles together over the last 15 years. However, all eyes will be on the upcoming NBA season. It remains to be seen how Curry and Green will perform in the 2024-25 NBA season.

Steve Kerr set things straight about Warriors and Stephen Curry regarding NBA trade talks

Mostly, every player is tradable in the NBA, but there are always a few exceptions. For the Golden State Warriors, their star man, Stephen Curry, is a clear exception. Notably, his head coach, Steve Kerr, also made things clear on the Willard and Dibs Show that Curry is not available for the NBA trade talks.

There’s very few players in the league who are not talked about in trade discussions. Steph Curry is not being talked about in trade talks. Everybody else is.

Curry is 36 years old. Nevertheless, he had another fantastic season in 2023-24, averaging 26.4 points and 5.1 assists while shooting 40.8 percent from beyond the arc and making an NBA-leading 357 three-pointers. It appears he still has some good years ahead.

Not only that, he carried his exceptional form to the 2024 Paris Olympics, performing admirably for Team USA. Curry clinched the Gold medal after beating Team France in the Finals. He was the star performer in the Finals as well as against Team Serbia in the Semi-Finals. Hence, Kerr will hope Curry continues from where he left off in the upcoming 2024-25 NBA season with the Warriors.
