NBA players reach a level of stardom that brings them into the circles of other celebrities and stars. That makes it uncommon for the two universes to come together when in matters of relationships. Jenn Tran, star of the just concluded season of Bachelorette, has just come off a relationship. However, that did not stop her from shooting her shot at Cleveland Cavaliers star Max Strus.

The former Bachelorette lead was a guest on the podcast The Viall Files: Reality Recap. When host Nick Viall asked her if she has someone on her mind as her date, she initially mentioned Jayson Tatum. Soon, Viall informed her that Tatum was in a relationship with Grammy award-winning artist Ella Mai. As such, Tran turned her attention to someone else.

Iโ€™m so sorry, Ella. You know what? Iโ€™m switching my celebrity crush. Max Strus, if youโ€™re out there and youโ€™re single, Iโ€™m here and Iโ€™m ready.

Her basketball background might be an indication that she prefers hoopers. This Cleveland Cavaliers hooper in particular, ended up following her Instagram account. If it at all develops into something will only reveal over time. At least she did not hesitate to take a direct shot at him. She would have preferred Jayson Tatum at first but had to step away as he is already in a relationship.

The reality star did, however, reveal that dating right now will be too soon, considering her engagement just broke off. She was engaged to Bachelorette star Devin Strader, but he broke it off with her weeks before the final episode aired. Nevertheless, Max Strus has captured fame for a mere name mentioned by a celebrity.

Max Strus turned heads in the past two NBA seasons

Max Strus came into the league as an undrafted player. After spending time with the Chicago Bulls, he was picked up by the Miami Heat. The Heat, who have a reputation of developing low or undrafted picks, molded Strus into a lights out clutch shooter. That was evident as he quickly found favor as one of the most called on role players.

That form came into the spotlight in the Miami Heatโ€™s run to the 2023 NBA Finals. His scoring and perimeter defense was instrumental in their run. His performances did not go unnoticed as the Cleveland Cavaliers handed him a 4-year $63 million contract.

Last season, injuries to key players shortened their NBA title hopes. Now that leading superstar Donovan Mitchell has committed to a longer contract, the team will look towards reaching their goals. Strus will likely build on his impactful shooting under new head coach Kenny Atkinson.
