Multiple-weight former UFC champion and consensus superstar Conor McGregor knows the appeal of stealing the show. Subsequently, this time, itโ€™s not some โ€˜Notoriousโ€™ weed-crazed antic or scathing Twitter tirade. This time, McGregor goes back to giving to the community again โ€” namely the 9/11 attacks.

A โ€œConnie comebackโ€ in UFC is far from the truth. Conor McGregor was to make his highly anticipated return at the UFC 303 PPV top bill. However, he pulled out from media obligations due to a toe injury. McGregorโ€™s antics in the meantime have not fueled hope of a return or signs of active camp. However, once billed as a โ€œHeroโ€ of the 9/11 cause, he diverts attention to it again.

9.11.2001 โ€“ Never Forget.
It was an honour to support the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund, paying tribute to the 658 Cantor Fitzgerald employees and 61 Euro Brokers who tragically lost their lives on 9/11.
I was on the floor, trading and making millions, with my proceeds going to @nyccopsandkids and @harlemfreefight. …Let’s remember, give back, and pay forward the kindness

Back in the year 2020, The Tunnel to Towers Foundation received a handsome $1m donation from McGregorโ€™s Proper No. Twelve Irish. Frank Siller, the brother of FDNY hero Stephen Siller โ€“ KIA in the World Trade Center attacks, thanked him for it. Much of the 9/11 Responders Org Community praised and paraded him the same. Now, bountiful โ€˜Mystic Macโ€™ worked the trading floor with Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey and the 42nd ex-Prez Bill Clinton.

The proceeds from โ€˜Notoriousโ€™, of the Crumlin Boxing Club, go to NYC Cops & Kids Boxing and Harlem Free Fight Academy Nonprofit. Though his party-man roll isnโ€™t slowed, the Irishman is taking humanitarian approaches with his windfalls.

McGregor, 36, replied to an article onย Raidiรณ Teilifรญs ร‰ireann (RTE)ย claiming to haveย expanded a 21-home housing development for The Large Scale Residential Development (LRD) application. He is also teasing the presidency again. His 9/11 efforts mainly have been one for ages.

The Tunnel to Towers Foundationโ€™s Fallen First Responder Home Program pays off the mortgages; mostly โ€“ of the families of law enforcement operators and firefighters KIA in the line of duty who leave behind young children. Providing stability and security to these families facing sudden, tragic loss is the Foundationโ€™s goal. โ€˜The Notoriousโ€™ Conor McGregor has been a vertical helpline in the effort.

Since launching in 2018, Proper No. Twelve has supported first responders who act with courage and answer the call to serve those in need every day. The brand donates $5 for every case sold to local first responder organizations around the world. Along with many others in combat sports, McGregor himself has also been an active part in sharing pro-sentiment snippets on the matter.

Proper No. Twelve co-founder Ken Austin, along with the Dubliner have had many such active snippets towards the 9/11 cause. Now, McGregor posts about the humbling effect, of joining the NYSE trading floor for the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund Charity Day.

I am humbled to spend September 11 in New York City honoring the legacy of the 2,977 people lost on that day in 2001. This year, I look forward to joining Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fundโ€™s Charity Day, raising funds for causes that help to improve lives #CFCCharityDay #September11 #CantorFitzgeraldReliefFund

McGregor has also starred in a PSA encouraging all Americans to donate $11 a month to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, in a brief Tele spot. Like him or not, the Connie Cry for humanitarian grounds has been a ginormous step forward in the right direction.
