Riyadh Season Noche UFC: O'Malley vs Dvalishvili - September 14th | Fight Promo 2

Bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley will aim to defend his title for the second title time successfully. This time, he faces #1 ranked Merab Dvalishvili in the main event of Noche UFC. Interestingly, before their highly anticipated fight, both fighters traded several verbal shots at each other. However, it seems O’Malley isn’t ready to stop it yet.

Sean O’Malley and Merab Dvalishvili have been sharing a feud for over a year now. Both fighters deliberately troll each other and even include several hilarious skits in doing that. ‘Suga,’ in particular, has often mocked Dvalishvili, citing his short height. Interestingly, he does it again. However, this time, O’Malley brutally describes the Georgian fighter’s overall appeal.

I’ll break down his (Merab Dvalishvili’s) appearance first, short, 5 (feet) 4 (inches), ugly, huge nose, just a weird head, very big head, very big nose, just a very ugly guy…

Despite calling Dvalishvili ugly, O’Malley praised his opponent’s fighting abilities. He specifically mentioned Dvalishvili’s strong cardio and wrestling skills, labeling him as dangerous. Not only that, O’Malley also noted that he tends to perform better against tougher opponents.

Speaking of O’Malley’s abilities, O’Malley has finished 7 out of 11 fights in the promotion. With the most recent finish against former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling at UFC 292. Interestingly, both Sterling and Dvalishvili share a great camaraderie. As such, the feud between O’Malley and the ‘Machine’ is caused by the outcome of the UFC 292 title fight.

Dvalishvili believed that O’Malley’s victory was a fluke due to the referee’s early stoppage, which sparked a feud between him and Suga. Interestingly, this recent comment about the Georgian fighter was not the first time O’Malley had done something like this. However, Dvalishvili has now chosen to respond to these comments. He has even issued a stern warning to the UFC bantamweight champion.

Despite having fun banters with O’Malley during their intense rivalry, Dvalishvili was displeased with the champion’s portrayal of a bully. The Georgian fighter recently addressed that issue on UFC 306 Embedded: Vlog Series. In doing so, Dvalishvili even asserted that he would beat O’Malley more because of that.

Dvalishvili’s record in the promotion is remarkable, making him one of the best fighters in the UFC currently. The Machine is currently on a 10-fight win streak, including a dominant victory over Henry Cejudo in his last fight.

With this impressive track record, Dvalishvili is confident about facing O’Malley and urges him to show up on fight night.

He (Sean O’Malley) try to be bully, try to talk sh*t. I’m gonna beat him more because of that… He’s good but but he’s the luckiest motherf*cker. O’Malley you better show up…
